WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE BIKE TOURS ?

Cultural Bike Tours - During all our Cultural Bike Tours, a solid city or E-Bike is provided, as well as a bottle of water, and a Polaroid photo that you can take home with you as a souvenir. Of course, a Dutch/English-speaking guide will guide you during the tours.

Classic Road Bike Tours - During all our Classic Road Bike Tours, an Dutch/English-speaking guide will guide you. Furthermore, a bottle of water and two snacks per person are included as well as two pieces of fruit.

I WOULD LIKE TO DO ONE OF YOUR TOURS BY MYSELF, WITHOUT A GROUP, IS THIS POSSIBLE ?

Yes, it is possible to do a 'Private' Bike Tour. Please contact us for more information.

DO I NEED TO BE TRAINED FOR THE BIKE TOURS ?

All our cultural Cultural Bike Tours are accessible for every level cyclist. Our Road Bike Tours, have different levels of difficulties.

WHAT TYPE OF CLOTHES SHOULD I WEAR ?

During all our Cultural Bike Tours you can wear your everyday clothes. During the Farm & the Honey Bike Tour, it is obligatory to wear jeans / long pants, because of the bees. The Road Bike Tours require different types of clothing. We recommend you wear cycling-related clothes. This is what we advise you to bring on our tours:

- Sunglasses

- Sunscream

- (Small) Backpack

- Camera / Phone (to capture all your highlights)

WHAT TYPE OF BIKES ARE PROVIDED DURING THE TOURS ?

During our Tours, we will of you a solid City or E-Bike. Our Argostoli Highlights Tour & the Argostoli Taste & Bike Tour include City Bikes. The other three Cultural Tours are our E-Bikes. Of course, it is also possible to do the first two tours on a E-Bike, at an additional cost.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE OF YOUR TOURS ?

The minimum age differs per tour.

- Argostoli Highlights Tour (all ages)

- Argostoli Taste & Bike Tour (all ages)

- The Honey Bike Tour (The minimum age is 16 years and older)*

- The Farm Bike Tour (The minimum age is 16 years and older)*

- The Wine Bike Tour (The minimum age is 18 years and older)

*Children from 10 to 16 years old can also participate in the Honey Bike Tour and the Farm Bike Tour. Unfortunately, they cannot cycle on an E-Bike, due to Greek traffic laws. However, we can arrange to transfer them by car to the farm. Please contact us for more information.

WHAT TYPE OF BIKES CAN I RENT FOR THE ROAD BIKE TOURS ?

DO YOU ALSO HAVE A BIKE FOR CHILDREN OR A CHILD BIKE SEAT ?

Of course! We have a bike for children. In addition, for the little ones who cannot cycle yet, we offer a child seat at an additional cost. Check out the 'Alternative Bikes' section here on the website for the children's bike if you would like to get more information.

WHAT IS THE LEVEL OF YOUR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES ? DO I NEED TO BE TRAINED TO PARTICIPATE ?

We offer three types of Outdoor Activities; Hiking, Mountain Biking, and Sea Kayaking. Here is some important information:

- Sea Kayaking: Regarding Sea Kayaking, you do not need to be trained to participate

- Mountain Biking: Our Mountain Biking Tours are on an intermediate level

- Hiking: Our Hiking Tours are on an intermediate level

WHICH BIKES ARE PROVIDED DURING THE SELF-GUIDED TOURS ? AND IS THERE A GUIDE DURING THE TOUR ?

During the Self-Guided Tours, high-quality E-Bikes are provided. The Ideal Prisma E810FX and the Scott Sub Cross eRIDE 20 are the bikes that we provide. The model that we will rent is based on your height and availability.

WILL THERE BE A TOUR GUIDE ON THE SELF-GUIDED TOUR ?

As the name suggests, the Self-Guided Tour is a tour where you will cycle by yourself. Don't worry, because we will provide you with all the necessary routes, information, facts, and interesting things to know about the surroundings and much more. HOW DOES MY LUGGAGE GO FROM POINT A TO B ?

Of course, we will take care of the transport of the luggage from point A to B. We have a special luggag service that will bring your luggage your accommodation to your new accommodation. Furthermore, it will drop off your luggage at the ferry. The only thing you have to do is to carry your luggage on board. At the harbor where you arrive, our luggage service will collect your items, and bring them to your next accommodation.

WHAT DOES TAILOR-MADE TOURS MEAN ?

Tailor-made tours are tours that we create based on your request. If you provide us with the necessary information regarding the duration, the quality you prefer of the accommodation, and other important subjects, we will create a specially made itinerary. All the tours are unique and made by our travel specialists.

HOW IS CYCLING IN KEFALONIA COMPARED TO THE NETHERLANDS ?
Cycling in Kefalonia is great. One large contrast compared to the Netherlands is that most of the Netherlands is flat, while sometimes when you cycle here, in Kefalonia, you will cycle up - and downhill more often. Cycling in general is safe and especially in Argostoli and other towns, cycling is easy. Sometimes the traffic can be a bit chaotic in the summer months in Argostoli, but you don't have to worry about that. Everything will be fine!

WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO BE THERE WHEN THE TOUR STARTS ?

It would be great if you could be there 15 minutes in advance before the tour starts. We will gather at Hotel King A, in Argostoli. This is where all our bikes are located. If you cannot make it in time, or you cannot find it somehow, please contact us so we can help you out. Down below you will find the location of the meeting point:
